He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul E. Adams and Marie Adams (Baumgardner); his siblings, Marv Adams and Marsha Haberkorn; his siblings-in-law, Cecil Weaver, Carl Olson and Jeannette Russell; and his father-in-law William Russell.
He is survived by: his former wife Deborah Russell; his wife Debbie; his daughters, Becky Andrews (Jason) of Corydon, IA, Vanessa Schneider and Jeannette Adams; his granddaughter Julia Sumahit; his mother-in-law Alice Russell of Clarkston, Wash.; his siblings, Sue Nitcher, Racine, Wis, Mary Adams (Don Hutzell), Paula Weaver, Tom Russell (Bridget), Mike Russell (Jen) and Marysville; and also, Bonnie Olson, Aumsville, Ore and Terri Simmer (James).
Full military honors by the American Legion Honor Guard and lunch will follow at the All Vets Center, 1603 S. Monroe Ave. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and a face covering is required.
Memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army, to the family, or to any local charity in Matt's name.
