She was predeceased by: her mother Marie Weiss; her sons, Mike and Daniel; and her sisters, Josephine Barker, Anna Lou Wille and Ramona Lau.
She is survived by: her children, Henry and Anna DeWeerdt; her husband Clem Weiss; her sisters, Betty Anderson, Ida Floy, Joanne Burress (Burry) and Louise Zrostlik; and her siblings-in-law, Frank Weiss and Catherine Faulken. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 4:45 PM at the Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel (126 3rd St NE, Mason City, IA 50401). Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A wake was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Epiphany Parish (300 5th St SE, Mason City, IA 50401).
