She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rasmussen and Amy Rasmussen (Benson); her husband Lloyd; her son-in-law Randy Carolus; her grandson Ryan Abrams; and her sister Anna Marie Henely.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffry Abrams (Kim) of Cedar Rapids, Mildred Carolus of Mason City and Mary Abrams (Eric Hansen) of New York City, NY; her grandsons, Micheal Abrams, Shawn Abrams (Jessica Morris) and Raul Carolus (Julie); her great grandchildren, Ian, Isabel, Zoey, Korbin Carolus, Gabriel, Asher, Bodhi Abrams and Montee Zimmerman; her sister Dorothy Egge of Sioux Falls, SD; and her brother-in-law Gene Henely of Charles City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that masks be worn and social distancing guidelines followed.
Memorials may be given to Iowa Public Television and the Good Shepherd Telephone Reassurance Program in memory of Marcia.
