She was predeceased by: her husband Keith O'Connell; and her siblings, Willis Schissel, Loras Schissel, Norma Krueger, Joan Kipp and Kathy Bohr.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia O'Connell of Waterloo, Marie O'Connell of Iowa Falls, Ron O'Connell (Rosalie) of West Salem, WI, Dan O'Connell (Tina) of Ames, Donita O'Connell (Tracy Quandahl) of West Union, Cindy Nulty (Patrick) of Ely, IA and Paula Recinos (Rene) of Mason City; her siblings, Tony Schissel (Lucy), Betty Weilacker and Mary Peterson; and her brother-in-law Luke Bohr of Decorah. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren.
