She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyal Fiscus and Marlyn Fiscus (McCradey); her husband Jim Ward; her son Donald Quandt; her great grandchild Hunter True; her grandson-in-law Mike Carpenter; and her sister Dawn Gault.
She is survived by: her former husband Delmar Quandt; her daughters, Lisa True (Dennis) of Mason City and Janeen Quandt (Laurie Riley) of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Hilary True-Carpenter, Aaron True (Stacy Krein), Haley True (Nathan Helbing), Levi Quandt, Brianna Ryan (Brett) and Cody Quandt; her great great grandchildren, Autumn, Peyton, Ty Carpenter, Makayla Krein, Adelynn and Brody True; and her siblings, Carol Gianinetti (Ernie) and Warren Fiscus (Donna).
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will hold a celebration of Lyla's life at a future date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family, where a charity will be established at a later date.
