Lila R. Johnson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2024, at the age of 98, Lila R. Johnson of Mason City, Iowa, born in Belmond, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luke Wessels and Ella Wessels (Riekens); her husband Duaine G. Johnson; her grandson Rob Brunett; and her siblings, Marvin, Merle Wessels and Lorraine Jordan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharyl Ann Portz (Gary) of Cascade and Karla Brunett (Robert) of Rochester, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Julie Miller (Todd), Joni Gorman, Chad King (Nikki), Dan King (Crystal) and Amanda Donovan (Shawn); her stepgrandchildren, Brian Portz and Amy Portz; her great grandchildren, Jonathon, Morgan, JD Michael, Lilee, Isaac, Axell, Joseph, Chelsea, Hailie, Luke, Daniel and Arlie; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Addie, Josie, Ella, Audrey and Morgan. She is also survived by eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
