It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy E. Butler (Mason City, Iowa), who passed away on March 18, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd M. Butler and Alice Butler (Johnson); and his parents-in-law, Harlan and Katherine Girton. He is survived by: his wife Judy Girton; his granddaughter Julie; his children, Michael Butler (Jolene) of Mason City and Julie Eaton (Jason) of Mason City; his grandchildren, Ben, Bryce, Sam Butler, Sydney, Courtney and Tyler Eaton; his brother Lowell Butler (Ellamae); and his brother-in-law Bob Girton (Carol).
Memorials may be directed to 1st Presbyterian Church, or Alzheimer's Association – Greater Iowa Chapter, and MercyOne North Iowa Hospice.
