Hansen; and also, Evelyn Bartusek (Reuben), Vera Johnson (Vernon), Eileen Rognes (LaVern), Russell Schwartz (Marguarite), Loretta Koenigsburg (Willis), June Bradley and Mavis Deardeuff (Clarence).
She is survived by: her close friend Alvin; her husband Gordon M. Bates; her children, Vikki Fischer (Randy), Thornton, Rosemary Barr (Dan), Dixie Polle (Robert), James (Christine Friedrich) and Dawn Ethofer (Scott Borwig); her grandchildren, Abby Anderson, Dr. Adam Ostendorf (Amy), Wanda, Courtney Barr, Danielle Woestman (Eric), John, Dr. Mark Polle, Crystal Richards (John), Colton, Cade Hansen and Grace Ethofer; her great grandchildren, Delaney, Avery, Colin Anderson, Alexandra Wilkey, Harper Anderson, Iris, Runa Woestman, Jack and James Richards; her sister Judith Borchardt (Russell); and her stepchildren, Todd Bates (Sherry) and Julia Bierbrodt (Sterling).
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private service will be held for Lelia's immediate family and a public.
