Lavern R. Vaage Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavern R. Vaage of Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Vaage and Della Vaage (Chentland); his brother Duane (Karen); and his son Rev. Robert Vaage. He is survived by: his wife Karen Stossivich; his son Jeff Vaage (Beth) of Pleasant Hill; his daughter-in-law DeeAnn Vaage of Milford; his grandchildren, Erin, Andrea Vaage (Kipp Paulsen), Jonathan (Michea), Christopher and Erik Vaage (Jessica); his siblings, Donna Nelson (Larry) of Hanlontown and Larry Vaage (Shirley) of Algona; and his brother-in-law Larry Zimmerman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family encourages the use of masks and social distancing while at the service and visitation.
