She was predeceased by: her father Michael "Mickey" Blazek; and her brother Tony. She is survived by: her mother Sherri Blazek (Barnett) of New Hampton; her daughters, Andrea Hopes of Clear Lake, Michaela Hopes of Clear Lake and Rebecca Hopes (Philip Cerwinske) of Forest City; her grandchildren, Lettie Cerwinske and Axel Evenson; her sister Kathleen Bonthius (Kevin) of Edina; and her nieces and nephews, Destiny, Emma, Alexandra, Tanya, Anthony and Liam. She is also survived by many loving cousins, aunts and uncles.
Kristy's kindness was carried on after her passing as she requested for her lungs to be donated to researchers that are working to find a cure for Interstitial Lung Disease.
