He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Blum and Steven Blum; his stepdaughter Susanne; and his siblings, Lois and Stephen.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, Deborah Best (John) and Lori Smith (Kenneth); his stepdaughters, Yvonne Dundee (Lane) and Ellen Hill (Thomas); and his siblings, Lillian Reynolds and Richard Blum (Karen). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
