With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Ann Murphy of Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on July 4, 2020 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Racette and Geraldine Racette (Engels); and her former husband Dennis Sturman. She is survived by: her husband Lowell Murphy; her children, Sally Battig (Troy), Mike Sturman (Melanie), Steve Sturman (Nancee Nystrom), Thomas Sturman and Bob Murphy; her grandchildren, Austin Battig (Logan Battig), Oliver, Ethan (Adisyn Sturman), Megan and Kathryn (Madeline Sturman); and her siblings, Dick Racette (Marti), Larry Racette (Cindy), Vicki Racette and Scott Bryan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family suggests memorials be directed to MercyOne North Iowa Hospice.
