She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Stossivich and Oval Stossivich (Scobee); her son Rev. Robert Vaage; and her sisters, Linda Zimmerman and Ora Stossivich.
She is survived by: her husband LaVern Vaage of Mason City; her son Jeff Vaage (Beth) of Pleasant Hill; her daughter-in-law Deann Vaage of Milford; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Michea), Christopher, Erik Vaage (Jessica), Erin and Andrea Vaage (Kipp Paulsen); her brothers, Keith Harriott (Clarice) of Lakeland and Stephen Daughtery of Sioux City; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Vaage Nelson (Larry), Larry Vaage (Shirley) and Larry Zimmerman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to KCMR Radio or the Hospice of North Iowa.
