She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Ella Gratias (Behm); her children, Lori Yung (David) of Apple and Chad Levis (Patricia) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Abigail Yung, Emily Yung, Andrew Yung, Elizabeth Yung, Julia Levis and Sophia Levis; her sister Mary Lou Blake; her husband James Levis; her father Ralph Gratias Sr.; her brothers, Gerald Gratias and Ralph Gratias, Jr.; and her significant other Ted Bair.

Should friends desire, memorials may be left in Karen's name to the Multiple Myeloma, Research Foundation.
