It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen L. (Ryerson) Keepers of Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on February 26, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Ryerson and Opal Ryerson (Howlett); her husband Tom Keepers; and her siblings, Mary Smidt and Paul Ryerson.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Ryerson (Kim) of Platteville, Nebraska, Mary Gremmer (Jeff) of Mason City and Kent Keepers of Mason City; her grandchildren, Lizzi Ryerson, Zeka Ryerson (Charlina), Nicholas Burke and Emily Burke; her great grandchildren, Silas Casteel and Leland Casteel; her sisters, Phyllis Steinberg (Albert) and Martha Dawson; and her pets, Charlie, Itsy and Opie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
