It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Castillo (Mason City, Iowa), born in Alamo, Texas, who passed away on February 15, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benita Cruz and Jose De La Cruz; her daughter Becinta Castillo; her grandson Maximo Escobedo; her great grandchild Royce Gonzales; and her great great grandchild Araya Mendiola.
She is survived by: her daughter Tella; her husband Filomeno Castillo; and her children, Eluteria, Asencion (Oliver), Sesaria, Seferino, Filomeno, Jr., Juan, Hipolito and Jesusa. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
