We bid farewell to Josie G. Byrd of Mason City, Iowa, born in Kingsville, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 24, 2024 at the age of 71. Josie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Emmanuel Byrd; and her parents, Jesus Gonzalez and Jacinta Gonzalez. She is survived by: her children, Benjamin Byrd (Megan) of Mason, Margaret of Belmond and Charlotte of Algona; and her siblings, Norma, Carmen, Elida, George and Luis.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Major Erickson Funeral Home (111 N Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA 50401).
