He was predeceased by: his parents, Tjark Hugo and May Hugo (Walkner); and his siblings, Gladys, Hester, Mae, Leroy, Tjark and Gunther.
He is survived by: his wife Zoe; his sister Nancy Cribbs (Jim); his sons, Steve (Nancy), John (Brenda) and Charlie (Martha); and his grandchildren, Bobbie Janssen (Tyler), Zane Hugo (Allison), Charlie Hugo (Mariah), Sam Hugo (Taylor), Rachel (Jacob Tolbert) and Cole Hugo (Maryam). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
