It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John David Klemp of Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on September 16, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Klemp and Marcella Klemp (Benjegerdes); his wife Shirley Vansteenburg; his children, Travis Klemp (Mollie) of Fort Dodge and Stacey Hubbard (Paul) of Mason City; his grandchildren, Zachary Klemp (Kristyn), Christian Klemp (Josey), Noah, Isaiah Klemp, Ethan, Colin and Avery Hubbard; his great grandchildren, Joshua, Mason Klemp and Lucy Klemp; his siblings, Jean Pederson (Ronald), James Klemp, Jane Theobald and Joel Klemp (Vaughn); his brothers-in-law, Ron Vansteenburg (Pat) and James Vansteenburg (Mary); his parents-in-law, Victor and Violet Vansteenburg; and his siblings-in-law, JoAnne Klemp and Craig Theobald. He was also cherished by numerous extended family members and treasured friends.
The family suggests memorials be directed to the them and or MercyOne North Iowa Hospice.
