He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin L. Stokes and Minnie E. Stokes (Dirksen); his sister Jacquelyn Dahl; his brother-in-law Curtiss Dahl; and his nephew Martin E. Dahl.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Anne; his sons, Jeffry, Jason (Stacie) and Justin Stokes; his grandsons, Jesse, Jacob, Josiah, Samuel and Isaac Stokes; his nieces and nephews, Mindy Tenold (Lynn), Mitzi Fenzloff, Kevin Gast (Brenda) and James Gast; his siblings-in-law, Mike and Shirley Marshall; and also, Allix Braun (Kevin), Boden, Briar Tenold, Andrea Wilde (Daniel), Oliver, Harriet, Collin Klemp (Lacey), Connor, Lincoln, Chelsea Weiland (Brandon), Riata, Lola, Logan Gast (Kaylee) and Raelyn James.
