It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Marie Balough of Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard Johnson and Ivah Johnson (Hull); her husband Rich Balough; her sons, Andrew Balough and Jacob Balough; her siblings, Shannon Determan (John) of Hudson, WI., Virginia Monson (John), Michael Johnson of Emmons, MN. and Polly Abrams (Mike); her nephew Eric Dusza; her nieces, Sarah Toycen, Rachel Determann (Matt), Megan Monsen (Nick), Abby Groher (Casey), Jazmayne Coleman-Monson, Lauren Abrams (Jonathon Rice) and Casey Dusza; and her close friend Patty. She was also cherished by five great-nephews; three great-nieces; aunts and many cousins.
