She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Montgomery and Lucille "Tiedeman" Montgomery; her daughter Sheila Shipman; her brothers, Bobbie, Chuck and Jay Montgomery; and her great grandchild Stephanie.
She is survived by: her former husband Richard Shipman; her children, Kathy Helland and Todd (Sue Shipman) of Mason City; her brother Doug Montgomery of Ocean Side, CA.; and her close friend Bonnie Stroud of Cherryville, N. C..
