With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean A. Payne of Mason City, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on November 26, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Letts and Berniece Letts (Tippin); her husband Lowell R. Payne; and her sisters, JoAnn Bergen and Judy Price.
She is survived by: her former husband Richard D. Smith; her daughters, Connie and Lynn; her grandchildren, Erin Pohlman, Haley Parker (Anthony), Richard Anker (Sonia), Michael Anker, Mark Anker and Kenneth Anker (Maria); and her great grandchildren, Anjelika Anker, Anika Vilia (Bruce), Camron Pohlman, Henry Anker, Brooke and Emma Parker. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She died of complications related to COVID-19.
