She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob J. Weiss and Riecka M. Weiss (Beer); and her husband Gary L. Ginapp. She is survived by: her sons, Carl (Marcia) and Craig (Heidi); her grandchildren, Callie, Riley, Camre and Joris; and her siblings, Mary Gee, Josie Kasprzak (Gerry), Margaret Gross (Ken), Christine Hunt (Dennis) and Mitch Weiss (Carolyn). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
During her career she received an Outstanding State Award in 1981 and, for her contributions to Civil Rights, an Employee of the Year Award and President's Award in 2001.
