He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Klemme; his wife Donna Walters; and his sister Jane. He is survived by: his sister JoAnn Gast (Laverne); his stepchildren, Lee Walters (Mary) of Maple Grove, MN, Jeffrey Walters (Roxanne), Gail Hawk (Elliott) and Eagan; and his grandchildren, Matthew Walters, Nicole Summy (Walters), Jason Walters, John Walters, Shannon Schanus, Meagan Ira and Chris Jones. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
