He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Kenne and Lena Kenne (Von Bank); his wife Alvina Freilinger; his brother Marvin Kenne (Sharon); his son-in-law Kip Watts; and his granddaughter Kathleen Casey.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Casey (Kevin) of Cuba City, Donna Fuchsen (Ron) of Marshalltown, Dale Kenne (Lynnette) of Coralville, Doris Junck (Tom) of Sioux City, Danette Benoit (Patrick) of Urbandale and Darlene Behr (Joe) of Mason City, Iowa; his grandchildren, Kelly Maersch, Chris (Sean Casey), Kristin Drabek (Jeremy Watts), Kurtis (Kimberly Kenne), Amanda Kellen (Emily Ehlers), Rebekah Benoit, Abbey Molitor, Dan Behr and Meredith Petersen (Shannon Behr); and his great grandchildren, Delaney Maersch, Connor, Chloe, Colton, Callie Casey, Brooke, Maxwell Drabek, Addysen, Kaylee, Easton Kellen, Theo, Abel, Lyla and Gavin Behr.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, social distancing practices will be followed.
In lieu of flowers an Irvin J. Kenne Memorial Fund has been established.
