We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2021, at the age of 87, Irene D. Hanson of Mason City, Iowa, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene D. Hanson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Murl Munson and Florence Munson (Oldenburg); her husband Stan; her son Jeffrey Alan Hanson; her granddaughter Sara Bothwell; and her siblings, Vivian Munson and Roy Munson.
She is survived by: her former husband Stanley R. Hanson; her daughter Janelle Bothwell (Scott); her grandchildren, Nathan Bothwell (Brenna), Carl Bothwell (Amy) and Heather Foelske (Marc); and her great grandchildren, Jaxson, Sophia, Jase Bothwell, Logan and Madison Foelske. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, extended relatives and many friends.
Irene also began volunteering with the American Cancer Society and Discovery Shop.
