He is survived by: his wife Prudy Young; his children, Camie Beal (Don), Carla Winterink (Mike) and Herman Berding Jr. (Sally); his grandchildren, Jason, Brandon, Dustin, Derek, Luke, Gabriella, Grace and Maggie; his great grandchildren, Raelee and Gavin; his siblings, LeRoy (Carolyn), Benny, Johnny (Marge), Darrell (Carol), Bonnie Holey (Arvid), LaVonne Blackmer, Shirley Berding and Rainy Brackey (Craig); and his close friend Buddy. He is also survived by his wife, his children, his grandkids, and his siblings.
