He is survived by: his wife Doris Kathryn Juhl; his sons, Vance Wendel (Kim) of Clear Lake, Todd Wendel (Barb) of Clear Lake and Clint Wendel (Kirstin) of Mason City, Iowa; his sisters, Lila Perry, Mary Wendel Baker and Paula Chambers (John); and his sister-in-law Wanda Orr. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
