It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald A. Gabel of Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on October 17, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Gabel and Mary Gabel (Schlader); his wife Bonnie Shultz; his daughter-in-law Jamie Gabel; and his sister Dorothy Stewart (Wilbur).

He is survived by: his children, Verlynn and Vernon; and his granddaughters, Alison and Isabella.
