With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Laurence Paulsen of Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Paulsen and Ilona Paulsen (Maassen); his siblings, John and Janet Carlson; and his parents-in-law, Bud and Dorothy TeKippe.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Stephannie Paulsen, Jennifer Thorson (Neil), Addison, Cooper, Maddox and Brian Paulsen (Audra); his grandchildren, Maverick and Abigail Paulsen; his sons, Nick Hinton and Logan Campbell; his pet Betsy; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Paulsen, Burton TeKippe, Jr. (Barb) and Michael TeKippe (Vicky). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
