Francis Voet Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Voet of Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on January 25, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris A. Voet and Madeleine M. Voet (Paemeleire); his wife Marg; his sisters, Mary Purcell (Tom) and Bertha Neeley (Jean); and his brothers-in-law, Marlyn Rasmussen and Dale Rasmussen (Janice).
He is survived by: his children, Linda Nolte (Fred) of Mason City, Gary Voet of Mason City and Nancy DeVries (Klay) of Shoreview, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Kevin Nolte, Curt Nolte, Michael Voet (Jenna), Lauren Hertel (Tom) and Carly DeVries (Zach Jacobson); his great grandchildren, Brooke (Caleb), Morgan, Avery, Aubrey, Autumn, Ben, Taylor and Max; his great great grandchildren, Harrison, Landry, Emma and Leighton; and his sister-in-law Joan Rasmussen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel (126 3rd St NE, Mason City, IA 50401). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City.
