She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Adams and Henrietta Adams (Abrahams); her husband Obie; her siblings, Harriet Anderson (Andy), Arlene Adams, Frank Adams, Albert Adams, Gloria Helgeson and Marilyn Lagios (George); and her brother-in-law Gordon Marsh.
She is survived by: her children, Debbi Lucas (Jeff) of Englewood, FL, Kevin Guertin of Bend, OR and Jon Guertin of Mason City; her grandchildren, Brandon Lucas, Nicole Glaros (John), AJ Lucas (Lauren), Kendall and Kylie Guertin; her great grandchildren, Desmond Lucas, Cullen, Cooper, Cassidy Glaros and Sylas Lucas; her sister Delores Marsh; her siblings-in-law, Judie Adams and Jim Helgeson; and her aunt Dorothy Strong. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
She was a longtime member of the St. James Lutheran Church in Mason City and spent countless hours creating beautiful quilts to be donated near and far to their various organizations.
