She was predeceased by: her parents, George "Otto" and Margaret Ann Kennedy (Brill); her siblings, Evan Kennedy (Mabel), Theda Johnson (Howard), Leah Meyers (Don) and Donna Hamre (Merle); her husband Lloyd Keith Buckels, Jr.; her son-in-law Bruce Arends; and her grandson Jed Graham.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Arends of Waterloo, Jada Graham (John) of Mason City and Jeremy Buckels (Sarah) of Ames; her grandchildren, Rossi Payne (Corbin) of Waterloo, Jared Arends (Tasha), Jake Arends (Emily) of Urbandale, Jenna Gooding of Clear Lake, Jordan Graham (Erin) of Mason City, Zach Anderson (Hayley) of Minneapolis and Hannah Buckels of Ames; and her great grandchildren, Caylee, Abby Payne, Keeley Duncan, Milo Arends, Olivia, Graham Gooding, Jed and Riley Graham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
