He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Beavers and Evelyn Beavers (Dettman); his siblings, Janet Beavers and Darrell Beavers; and his grandchild Korey.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" McMurray; his children, Thomas Beavers (Lillian) of Jordan, MN, Hubert Beavers (Tammy) of Mason City, Carl Beavers of Mason City, Stephen Beavers (Nancy) of Mason City, Burton Beavers (Jodi) of Maplewood, MN and Barbara Kessler; and his sisters, Marylin Beavers (Gerry Almburg) and Marlys Katuin (Marvin).

Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel (126 3rd St NE, Mason City, IA 50401). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapels (126 3rd St NE, Mason City, IA 50401).
