He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Mummelthie and Esther Mummelthie (Kummelehne) of Frederika, IA.; his former wife Carol Gustafson; and his siblings, Don Mummelthie, Betty Graham and Gene Mummelthie.
He is survived by: his wife Marlayn; his children, Dale Mummelthie (Joan) of Arizona, David Mummelthie (Debbie) of Wisconsin, Steve Mummelthie of Iowa and Paula Ring of Colorado; and his siblings, Bob Mummelthie, Donna Wendt and Bertha Ray (Chuck). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great friends.
