He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin King and Wilma King (Borchardt); his son Randy King; and his siblings, Gwen, Jerry, Therald "Bing" and Doug.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Younke (Williamson); his children, Terry King (Lois), Laura Payer (Rick), David Younke and Tom Younke; and his grandchildren, Emily Meserve (Jonathan), Anna Sandager (Ian), Sarah King, Andrew Beavers (Kjersti), Lindsay Rollefson (Scott), Jonathon Payer (Justine), Lucas Younke, Caleb Younke and Noah Younke. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
