It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy M. Burras of Mason City, Iowa, born in Kanawha, Iowa, who passed away on March 5, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Jordanger and Ida Jordanger (Block); and her brother Merle Jordanger. She is survived by: her sisters, Lois Cushman and Phyllis Bivona (Richard); her husband Roger Burras of Mason City; her children, Vickie Snyder (David) of Clear Lake, Rick Burras (Lori) of Decorah, Rene' Worrall (Gary) of Ankeny and Todd Burras (Stephanie) of Ames; her grandchildren, Alece Hall (Tim), Maggie Worrall, Danielle Burras (Anna Rajdl), Ryan Burras (Elizabeth), Aria Behne (Tyler), Hannah Worrall, Jace Snyder, Rachel Elwood (Darrek), Annie Snyder, Andrew Burras and Elizabeth Burras; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte Hall, Henrietta Burras, Eleanor, Raegan, Caroline Burras, Brayson, Emery Behne and Ava Elwood. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and customary remembrances, Dorothy's family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Shriners Children's Hospital or MercyOne North Iowa Hospice, and sent to the family's attention at Ewing Funeral Home, P.O. Box 363, Clarion, Iowa, 50525.
