It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris M. Hicok of Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Janssen and Louise Janssen (Zimmermann); her husband Lowell Hicok; and her siblings, Geraldine Schultz, Elmer Janssen, JoAnne DeGeus, Roger Janssen, Pearl Griffin and Gordon Janssen.
She is survived by: her sons, James Hicok, David Hicok (Margo) and Duane Hicok (Cheryl); her grandchildren, William Hicok (Amy), Heather Fails (Matt), Angela Wike (Chris), Braden Hoppen (Jane), Daniel Hicok, Steffani Simbric (Jeff), Klarrisa Harpenau (Travis), Jesse Hicok (Becka), Marie Campbell (Troy), Pamela Diekhuis, Jennifer Mallo (Jay Peterson) and Kelly Harbacheck; her great grandchildren, Makayla Percy, Zachary Percy, Jackson Hicok, Trinity Fails, Kristi Field, Cameron Wike (Elizabeth Stevens), Dillion Wike, Andrew Hoppen, Ella Hoppen, Andrew Hicok (Amy Fullerton), Samuel Hicok, Bain Hicok, Jordan Simbric, Logan Simbric, Miguel Jaime, Isabelle Jaime, Clara Harpenau, Jameson Diekhuis and Dylan Mallo; her aunt Mary Anne Steenhard (Larry); and her sister-in-law Phillis Huxsol.
