He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clarence and Ethel Icey Reed (Keller); his siblings, Marilyn Crohan, Fearl Richmond, Marie Seiler, Charles, Robert and Bill Reed; and his friends, Herman Lauritsen, Gary Frerichs and Dean Kemmerer.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Reed of Clear Lake, IA; his children, Julie Hartwell of Minneapolis, MN, Gregory Reed, Maple Plain, Larry Reed (Amy) and White; his grandchildren, Eric Hartwell, Marcus Hartwell, Taylor Reed, Zachary Reed, Alex Reed and Sara Reed; his great grandchildren, Bentley Reed, Odin Reed and Ella Grace Hartwell; and his sister-in-law Darlene Harper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
