He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Maxwell; his parents-in-law, Mandius (Buck) and Clara Christianson; and his siblings-in-law, Mandius Christianson Jr. (Sonny) and Kate Christianson.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Christianson (Becky); his children, Angela Janel (Daniel DeCook), Cynthia Dawn Smith of San Diego, CA, Kimberly Dee (Chad Erickson) and Jacob Erickson; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Christianson, Delmar Christianson, Larry Christianson (Marlene), Esther Childs (Dean) and Alberta Christensen.
