He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claus Ubben (Nettie) and Annetté Ubben; his wife Lorraine Weiland Piper; his daughters, Faith, Joy and Amber; his granddaughters, Amanda Degges (Mark), Jessica Thomason, Bridgette Abbott (Derek) and Annetta Krukow (Tanner Peard); his great grandchildren, Benjamin Naumann, Loralei Naumann and Liam Abbott; his brother-in-law Garrett Weiland (Leola); his grandparents, Tako Ubben (Reka) and Martin Krull (Gretje); and his sister-in-law Clellan Ufford (David).
