She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis McNally and Clara McNally (Mork); her husband Hugh Varty; her son William "Bill" Varty; her siblings, Mary Blatti (Lindy), Lucy Cochrane (Jim), Shirley Nylund (Don), Virginia Rude (Bob), Robert and Wayne McNally; her siblings-in-law, Sarah McNally, Bernice Jaqua (Don), Richard Searls, Paul Smith and Pat Varty (Helen); her nephews, Rand McNally, Jonathan Cutler and Doug DCamp; and her great-niece Rachel Paulson.
She is survived by: her daughter Dion Varty; her granddaughter Miranda Varty (Jason Nauman); her great grandchildren, Jakob of Mason City and Jarrett Servantez of Mason City; her daughter Terri Paulson; her sisters, Betty Searls, Patricia Smith and Sandy Cutler (John); her sister-in-law Wanda McNally; and her brother Ron McNally. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
