She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Shaner and Marie Shaner; her parents-in-law, Harvey and Mynn Christopherson; and her siblings-in-law, Stephanie Shaner, Faye Dohrmann (Floyd), Maxine Nabor, Roger Christopherson (Lucy) and Harvey Dean Christopherson.
She is survived by: her husband Howard (Chris) of Mason City; her children, Christy VanDeventer (David) of Algona, Craig Christopherson (Patricia) of Sheffield, Curtis Christopherson, Rochelle Arends of Rockford and David Christopherson (Pam) of Mason City; and her brother Roger Shaner of Ankeny. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
