She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Sr. Smidt and Sharon Smidt (Berg); her husband Tomy Lee Rick; her parents-in-law, Everett and Ruth Rick; and her sister Doreen McLaughlin.
She is survived by: her children, Alicia Rick of Omaha, Sheila Rick of Mason City and Jacob Rick of Mason City; her grandchildren, Isaiah Lee Rick, Jasmine Mae Rick and Tomy Jayden Everett Rick; her brother David Rick; her niece Sherry Gonzalez; and her nephew John McLaughlin, Jr..
