He was predeceased by: his parent Vaughn Escher. He is survived by: his mother Joan Escher (Burnett); his daughters, Paige, Leah and Linae; his brother Stephen; his sister-in-law Ruth; his niece Anna; and his nephew William.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be directed to the Lime Creek Nature Center.
