David Roger Kratz Obituary

We bid farewell to David Roger Kratz of Mason City, Iowa, born in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 16, 2024 at the age of 75. David Roger touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Ellen Kratz; his in-laws, Cletus and Laurel Fandel; his grandson Gabriel Graham; his siblings-in-law, Donald Miller, Roger Garner, Bill Peterson and Bunny Fandel; and his friend Dick Fistler.

He is survived by: his former spouse Talitha Albertson; his son Joshua David (Kelly); his grandchildren, Andrea Jean and Calan Craig; his daughter Halloween; his wife Kelly Fandel; his grandsons, Caden and Sam Kratz; his child Andrea (Mike); his grandchildren, Cole and Ruby Frantz; his daughter Amber Kratz; his grandchildren, Acacia and Hayes Allen; his child Calan Kratz; his siblings, Kristine Miller, Ray Kratz (Deb), Lynn Kratz (Teri) and Marv Kratz (Cathy); his in-laws, C. J Fandel, David Fandel (Jackie), Brad Fandel (Sherrie), Cindy Fandel and Kim Fandel Garner; his friends, Cindy Fistler, Joe and Linda Thompson; and also Dave. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Dave was able to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. His donation will restore life's promise for many families.
