He is survived by: his son Spencer Alitz of Mason City; and his siblings, Duane Alitz (Barb) of Albert Lea, Deb Thompson (Tim) of Mason City and Doug Alitz (Laura) of Mason City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
