She was predeceased by: her parents, Mariestelle M. Brown (Miller) and Donald W. Brown; and her grandparents, Velma (Salzburg), Gordon Miller, John and Bessie Brown (Snedden).
She is survived by: her husband Paul Peterson of Mason City, Iowa; her daughter Sethanne DeGabriele; her son-in-law Bryan DeGabriele; her grandson Drew DeGabriele of Mason City, Iowa; her aunt Jane; her uncle Dick Barnette of Ko Olina, Hawaii; and her cousins, Blaise, Lil and Bond Barnette of Lake Oswego, Oregon..
