He was predeceased by: his mothers, Myrtle Rose and Bernice Thrams; his wife Sally Jean Walters; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Hazel Walters; his children, Cynthia and Thomas; his great grandchild Rebekah Rose Pyle; and his siblings, Reid Thrams, Richard Reynolds and Audrey Thrams.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Susan) of Camdenton, MO, Rhonda (Daryl Pyle) of Mason City and Jonathon (Dawn) of Ft. Dodge; his children-in-law, Ed Behrmann of Ames and Susie Thrams of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Amy Knight, Brian Squier (Ann), Jamie Thrams (Katie), Brenton Pyle (Christina), Alecia Kippenberger (Satid), Matthew and Courtney Thrams; and his brother Sam Porter. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
The family requests that those attending the visitation and funeral service wear masks.
